Halloween, a night of ghouls, ghostly gatherings, and spine-tingling fun, is celebrated worldwide. On October 31st, people dress up and enjoy trick-or-treating, haunted houses, and festive gatherings. With our Spooky Fiesta this year, Ropstam turned its workplace into a haunted haven.
The air was spine-chilling, with decorations everywhere—giant cobwebs clinging to walls, the subtle flicker of dim lights, and eerie fog rolling over the floor. Employees entered a spooky wonderland featuring a life-sized scarecrow, a chilling coffin booth for photos, and creepy setups that impressed with their detail. The most thrilling touch? A witch emerged eerily from under the food table, adding extra fright to the feast!
To top it off, a tarot card reader table drew everyone’s attention, with souls lining up to find the mysteries that awaited them. And, just when we thought we had our fill of surprises, a sinister-looking clown peeked down from the ceiling, sending chills down our spines. The haunting decorations, fun details, and spellbinding atmosphere made for a “spooktacular” evening at Ropstam.
Ghostly Games & Goodies
What’s a Halloween event without some devilish games? Ropstam’s Spooky Fiesta was brimming with excitement as our teams embraced each gory game with enthusiasm, laughter, and, of course, a fair amount of shouts and shrieks!
The Boo-Tower Challenge had teams competing to build the tallest tower of plastic cups against the clock. With one wrong move potentially leading to a collapse, participants stacked cups with steady hands and nerves of steel, creating a tense experience for both builders and the cheering crowd.
Then, our Mallow Catch game had everyone in stitches! Participants wore cup gloves and attempted to catch as many marshmallows as possible in a cup. With each miss and successful grab, gasps, groans, and cheers filled the room with infectious energy.
The highlight of the games was the Best Costume and Ramp Walk contest, showcasing incredible creativity. The Ropstam team turned into a ghastly parade of characters—possessed dolls, zombies, Morticia Addams, demons, and Ghostface. Participants confidently walked the spooky runway, receiving applause for their outfits and makeup. The Evil Dead zombies truly stole the show with their impressive performances, fully embodying their roles. Everyone looked hauntingly unrecognizable compared to their usual office selves. The crowd was captivated, and it was clear that our Ropstam team knew how to bring their Halloween A-game.
Creepy Culinary Delights
Halloween at Ropstam wouldn’t have been complete without a feast to match the theme. After the games and costume parade, it was time for everyone to dig into the spooky spread that awaited. Our Halloween-inspired menu added the perfect touch with creatively named treats and devilishly delicious snacks.
Among the offerings were Mystic Munches and Gore Kernels—popcorn dusted with a mysterious crimson spice. We also had Spooky Nachos, loaded with gooey cheese and chillingly crunchy toppings, and Creepy Crisps to add some eerie crunch to the evening. The centerpiece was a batch of Coffin Sandwiches, oozing with fillings that left everyone both intrigued and hungry. Eyeball Pasta was a highlight, with ‘eyeballs’ that looked hauntingly like blood, and Oreo Bats stacked within a ‘dead body’ prop were a playful twist that perfectly fits our gory theme.
And, of course, no Halloween feast would be complete without plenty of drinks to wash it all down. With full bellies and big smiles, it was the perfect way to wind down after an evening of fun, fear, and frights. Ropstam’s Spooky Fiesta hit all the right notes, leaving everyone happy, satisfied, and ready for more ghostly gatherings in the future.
